Janet Lake, R.N., D.C.


Dr. Lake has worked in the health care field since her first job as a physical therapy aide in 1973.  She studied nursing at Long Beach City College and became an R.N. in 1976. Her nursing career ranged from medical-surgical units to ICU/CCU for 20 years.  In 1978, she began her study of bodywork at Mueller College of Massage in San Diego and practiced as a massage therapist in a variety of settings. She received a B.A. from Tufts University in 1986 in preparation for chiropractic college and graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1991. She has been in private practice in the Claremont area since earning her degree.

She has specialized in Direct Non-Force Technique (DNFT) through extensive post-graduate training.  She continues to learn and grow in her understanding and awe for the human body through seminars and conferences.

  • Speed your recovery through DNFT®, education, and referral or consultation as needed.
  • Schedule only necessary treatments.
  • Release you as a patient as soon as you are able to continue recovering on your own.
  • Explain what I am doing–and why–and will answer all of your questions to the best of my ability.
